Tips for hotels stays in Haarlem
Book early for peak seasons like spring and summer, as Haarlem is a popular destination. Many hotels have limited rooms, so planning ahead secures the best choice.
Consider the location relative to the train station and city center. Haarlem is compact, but staying near the Grote Markt puts you close to shops, restaurants, and historic sites.
Check if your hotel offers breakfast; it can save time and give you a chance to try local products. Some hotels provide this, while others may not.
If you're arriving by car, confirm parking options with your hotel in advance. Street parking can be limited, and some hotels have private parking for a fee.
For a more local experience, look for boutique hotels or apartments. They often have unique decor and personalized service, though amenities may vary.
